How do I submit cards?

Create a submission in the Arkive app, list each card with format and declared value, then ship the package to the address shown in the app using a traceable method. Arkive assumes responsibility for accepted cards only after the shipment has been delivered and received by Arkive.

What cards are accepted?

Graded slabs (PSA, BGS, CGC, RaukCard and equivalent) and single cards in penny sleeve + toploader. A team bag around the toploader is recommended.

Do you accept other trading card games?

At present, Arkive accepts Pokémon cards only. This allows us to focus on building the best possible storage, cataloguing and marketplace experience for Pokémon collectors. Support for additional trading card games may be added in the future based on customer demand.

Do you accept loose cards?

Currently Arkive does not accept loose cards, booster packs, booster boxes or sealed products. Cards must be in a slab or a sleeve + toploader.

How are cards stored?

In a secure indoor storage environment in Sweden. Each card has a unique Arkive ID and a tracked storage location. Access is restricted to authorised staff.

How do withdrawals work?

Request a withdrawal from your collection at any time. A withdrawal fee applies based on the number of items, plus actual shipping. Arkive normally uses a traceable shipping method appropriate to the value and destination of the shipment.

Can I withdraw a card that is listed for sale?

Cards that are actively listed for sale, reserved for a pending transaction or subject to an accepted offer may be temporarily unavailable for withdrawal. If you no longer wish to sell a listed card, you can remove the listing first and then request a withdrawal. Once a transaction has been completed, ownership is transferred and the card can no longer be withdrawn by the previous owner.

How does the marketplace work?

You can list stored cards to other Arkive customers. Internal sales transfer ownership without the card leaving the vault. You can also instruct Arkive to list specific cards on external platforms like Tradera and Cardmarket.

What is the Arkive Wallet?

The Arkive Wallet is your balance within the Arkive platform. When you sell cards through Arkive, the proceeds are credited to your Arkive Wallet balance. Marketplace fees, payouts and other account activity are also reflected in your wallet history. You can use your wallet balance to purchase cards from other users on the Arkive marketplace or request a payout to your bank account. The Arkive Wallet is not a bank account, payment account or investment product.

How are payouts handled?

Sales proceeds are credited to your Arkive Wallet. You can request a payout to a bank account you control. Identity verification may be required for larger payouts.

How are my cards protected?

Cards are kept in a secure indoor storage environment in Sweden with restricted access, alarm and fire protection. Arkive does not currently advertise or offer a dedicated insurance product unless explicitly stated elsewhere on the platform. Liability for individual cards is limited as described in the Terms of Service and Vault Storage Terms.

What happens if my card is rejected?

If an item is rejected because it is suspected to be counterfeit, Arkive may refuse storage of the item and may return it, retain it pending further review, or handle it in accordance with applicable law. Other rejected items can be returned at your cost (standard withdrawal fees apply).

Can I sell cards externally?

Yes. You can request that Arkive lists specific cards on third-party marketplaces on your behalf. External marketplace fees and shipping costs may apply, together with Arkive's 5% service fee. Additional third-party fees may apply depending on the marketplace used.

How long is storage free?

The first 12 months of storage are free for up to 25 cards per account, starting when Arkive first receives any card for the account. After the free period or if you exceed 25 cards, the applicable storage tier fee applies.

Do I own my cards while stored?

Ownership remains with you while your cards are stored. Arkive holds your cards as a custodian. Ownership transfers only when a completed marketplace transaction or other authorised transfer is recorded by Arkive.
